Student Discussion Forum (panFora)
PGSP has a new and improved online discussion forum for PGSP students! This is a place online where you can post questions, suggestions, events, ads, etc. for password-protected community consumption.
This PGSP Student Forum:
- will allow no anonymous postings,
- will allow no group emails, but you can ask that an email version of your posting be sent to yourself and/or the person to whom you're responding, and
- it can be used by all, i.e. PhD, PsyD P3 and DL students.
So far, the organizational scheme in the left (navigation) frame follows
- Academics: Clinic, Courses, Dissertations, Exams, Internship, Practicum, etc.
- Advertising: For Sale, Free, Jobs, Transportation, Wanted, etc.
- Events: (self-explanatory)
- Questions: (self-explanatory)
- Policy: (for answers to certain questions)
- Social: (self-explanatory)
- Suggestions: (self-explanatory)
That way, the Questions, Policy, and Suggestions sections can be about Admissions, Alumni, Awards, the Building, Calendar, Commencement, Diversity, Faculty, Fellowships, Financial Aid, Individual Therapy, the Library, Masters Degree, Orientation, Student Services, the Website, etc.
Students can access the Forum Home Page using Netscape 4.0 or greater, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater at:
http://www.panfora.com/PGSPStudents/ and the Forum, directly, at: http://www.panfora.com/PGSPStudents/cgi-bin/Forum.cgi?fid=PGSPStudents
Logon as you would at PGSP with the first letter of first name and your entire last name (hmills, for example). You will be sent a password for you to change, using the "new pass" link in the left frame just under your user name, as well as a special welcome message on first logging in.
If you have any questions about using the Student Discussion Form, please contact Harrianne Mills, Institutional Research Director and Academic Advising Coordinator of the Ph.D. program at hmills@pgsp.edu
